- 팬데믹 시기의 초등 예비교사 온라인 교육실습 경험 분석 -
팬데믹 이후 예비교사 교육실습의 온라인 운영 및 확장에 대한 가능성이 커졌다. 본 연구는 국내의 한 초등 교원 양성대학에서 팬데믹 시기에 팀즈 등의 플랫폼을 활용하여 운영한 두 종류의 온라인 교육실습 과정을 평 가하였으며, 이를 통해 온라인 교육실습이 면대면 현장실습을 대체할 수 있는 영역이 있는지, 또 성공적인 온 라인 교육실습을 위해 어떤 과정 설계와 운영전략이 요구되는지를 조사하고자 하였다. 이에 본 연구는 각 과정 에 참여한 교육실습생을 대상으로 교직에 관한 자기의 인식변화와 실습프로그램 및 학습지원 환경에 대한 평 가 설문을 조사하고 포커스그룹 면담을 진행하였다. 그 결과, 온라인 교육실습 경험을 통해 실습생들은 교사 역할과 수업에 대한 이해, 특히 원격교육용 디지털 도구 활용 능력 등이 향상되었다고 평가하였다. 이들에게 첫 온라인 교육실습 경험은 대체로 긍정적이었으며, 온라인 종합실습에서보다 온라인 참관실습 참여 실습생의 과정 만족도가 특히 높게 나타났다. 실습생들의 높은 만족도는 수업동영상을 활용한 수업 관찰과 다양한 형태 의 개별 온라인 수업실습에 기인한 것으로 나타났고, 이러한 활동이 적시에 실습 지도교사의 실시간 화상 컨설 팅과 연계되었을 때 매우 효과적이었음을 알 수 있었다. 두 사례의 비교분석 결과를 토대로 미래 온라인 교육 실습의 설계와 운영 방향에 대한 시사점이 논의되었다.
An Analysis of Primary School Pre-service Teachers’ Online Practicum Experiences During the Pandemic
After the pandemic, the possibility of implementing and expanding online practicum for pre-service teachers has increased. This study evaluated two types of online practicum courses run by a primary school teacher training university in Korea using platforms such as Teams during the pandemic, and investigated what face-to-face practicum activities can be replaced by online practicum and what course design and implementation strategies are required for successful online practicum implementation. Therefore, this study conducted an evaluation survey of pre-service teachers who participated in each course on changes in their perception of teaching as well as the practicum program and learning support environment, and conducted interviews with focus groups. As a result, the participants evaluated that their online practicum experiences improved their understanding of the role of teachers and classes, especially their ability to use digital tools for remote education. For them, the first online practicum experience was generally positive, and the participants’ course satisfaction in the online observation practicum was particularly higher than in the online comprehensive practicum. The high satisfaction of trainees was found to be due to class observation using class videos and various forms of individual online teaching practice, and these activities were found to be very effective in timely connection with real-time video conferencing consulting by cooperative teachers. This study derived implications for the design and implementation of future online practicum based on the results of comparative analysis of the two cases.
